The organization uses a holistic approach to undertake development initiatives to cater to human rights protection, attainment of sustainable livelihoods, and empowerment of the youth and marginalized groups. Youth Organization is committed to its objectives and responsibilities and has been actively engaged in development initiatives for since long in the province in partnerships with UN agencies and with Government institutions. YO made realistic efforts to respond to the socially excluded, marginalized population of the province through the implementation of long and short-term projects. This social development process was made possible through having strong mobilization and expanded outreach services at grass root level in different districts. Through the structured and with the formation of local level institutes i.e. Community Organizations (COs), Village organizations (VOs) comprising of women and men, local support organizations (LSOs), Community level committees (CLCs), Citizen groups, Hum Awaz groups, Peer Educators groups and Youth volunteer’s groups in different districts. As a result, YO target groups have benefited from the available resources and services. The organization also pays special attention to youth and children of religious and ethnic minorities. The organization with its aim is making considerable efforts to enable marginalized segments access to education, and health facilities and helping the groups to actualize their basic human rights. With regards to children’s rights, schools have been identified as the key setting place where health and educational issues can be jointly addressed and necessary action can be taken for the improvement of the children’s nutritional and educational needs. Youth organization envisions social change, which involves the advancement of equality, justice, and respect for human rights and dignity. It aims towards developing and creating an understanding of everyone’s common responsibility to make human rights, (UDHR, CRC, and other Conventions for the rights of women and children), human development, and socio-economic changes reality in each community and the society at a large scale.  In addition to the inspiration we take from the principles and values of human rights, all our work and interactions with stakeholders are guided by the following organizational values:

  1. To ensure mass level participation in socio-economic, peace, justice practicing, good governance in the political and scientific arena, through recreational and culture revival opportunities for youth in general and women in particular.
  2. To inspire and equip Women & Youth to reach their divine potential, women in leadership and business management skills, and build the capacity building of communities for identification, prioritizing of services delivery gaps and resource mobilization to redress, enhance ownership as a remedy and enable them to plan, implement and manage development initiatives for sustainability.
  3. To organize and facilitate services in segments of women empowerment, child protection, health, education, enterprise & legal empowerment, physical infrastructure, environmental protection, water, and sanitation in Baluchistan.

Technical Capacity:

Youth Organization is one of the well-managed, well-recognized, and responsible organizations of Balochistan province and the organization has the technical capacity with inter-institutional relationship to implement vast level projects in Balochistan province. Youth organizations have a comprehensive and well-defined policy that is being implemented by our qualified managers that operationalize policies within the organization. The management staff have devastated work experiences in different sectors; hence the organization has strong linkages between government line department/agencies, development sector organizations, and national level networks in which we are playing a vital role in the advancement of social transforming structures in Balochistan province where we are leading provincial and national level programs with the support of the national and international donor agencies; particularly we are the national election commission and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) which is a well-recognized network of Pakistan and leading a nationwide democratic campaign in Pakistan. We are the provincial chair of the Pakistan CSOs Coalition for Health and Immunization (PCCHI) in Balochistan. PCCHI with the support of the Gavi network strengthens access to immunization through CSOs in Pakistan. As well as we have well-defined program approaches, service standards, demand generation skills like PRA and advocacy campaigns, program implementation strategies, community involvement in our projects/ projects, capacity building/ training approaches, monitoring, supervision, leadership skills, procurement planning, community-level storage of commodities and utilization, data collection, quality assurance and improvement in the data collection process, data use for decision making, complaint registration, feedback, and sharing and management information systems with advance technology and qualified/ skilled human resource.

Operational Strength:

Youth Organization in lightening with its functionalized policies, we control the operational activities by operation manager which is in place at the head office of the organization. Every single process of the operation is being processed by the qualified manager and it is being monitored by the security supervisor and reported by manager operations to the program manager of the organization.   The manager operation verifies and validates the approved work plan of the entire office including program and projects staff; the manager operations further guide the admin, finance, and security officials to proceed with financial, administrative, and travel matters of the organization as per the budgeted work plan. A comprehensive operational system ensures organizational activities and makes flexibility for every staff to work smoothly in an official environment. Keeping in view the strong operational strategies, we have our existence in 22 districts of Balochistan province.

Youth organizations have a vast level of experience in gender empowerment, women’s rights, and gender equity programs with the financial support of various donor agencies like TDEA, Aurat Foundation, and Shirkat Gah. One of the important programs which we had implemented with the financial support of USAID was Gender Equity Program GEP in Balochistan province. The project was similar to the gender-responsive help desk establishment at major points that provided legal advisory support to the women and Trans genders through physiological and legal advisory.
